Easily grown in UK gardens as it is tolerant of summer moisture. The small flowers are not of great substance but are reliably produced. Increases by producing many small cormlets which can make it a nuisance if grown in a bulb frame. There is a completely albino form in cultivation which is as easily grown as the normal form.
